Window Installation
This piece was constructed by finding a quote said by a successful designer and creating a vinyl installation to be put on a window in the art building.
"There are dreams out there that must be made real" was said by designer Frank Chimero in some of the closing words to his book The Shape of Design.
This quote struck me as unique in the world of design quotes, and I felt that it would fit in well on the interior windows of the art building.

I was inspired by the artwork featured alongside the chapters in Frank Chimero's book in the creation of this piece, combining rigid shapes with more organic, geometric constellations.
To make the vinyl piece the file had to be within the dimensions of 44x22, and submitted to the vinyl cutter.
After receiving the cut piece, the art was weeded and hung up in the Art Building at CMU.
The final piece hangs in the CMU art building by the North exit door to the building, where it still hangs currently.
This quote was specifically chosen because it worked well with the location I had selected. It was my intention to give the students of the art building a positive message upon leaving their work for the night.
