Maine Root Packaging Refresh

The brief for this project was to find a six (or four)-pack of bottled beverages to give the packaging and labels a refresh, with the explicit goal of marketing the product to a new audience of consumers.


Maine Root Root Beer was the brand chosen for the refresh, with plain packaging. The goal was to create new packaging that would stand out amongst other soda options it competes with on store shelves.

The new Maine Root packaging sports brighter colors that stand out on store shelevs, that still retain the natural image that is integral to the Maine Root Brand.

The new art on the packaging gives the product a new identity that appeals to younger audiences and parents shopping for their children.
